A pair of casting rings with a diameter of 80 mm made from seamless aluminum tube. The precisely fitting recesses - without play - and a marking always ensure precise positioning of the casting rings to one another. The turned track on the inner edge fixes the casting sand securely in the casting ring.
The indentation in the grip area is new compared to the previous model. If casting sand residue gets between the fits of the rings, they can jam when separating and twist against each other.
As a result, the shape is no longer sharp at the edges. Thanks to the indentations, the rings can now be gripped without slipping and easily pulled apart axially without twisting and
shifting the casting model.
